We are very proud to annonce we now offer more than frequent than hourly backups on our SSH based backup options (MySQL, PostgreSQL and File/Folders).
Customers on the business plan can now select also select backups from ever 5,10,15,20,30 minutes.
What happens if backups overlap
SnapShooter will not allow a backup process to start if it detects there is a pervous backup job for that resource still running. You will receive a failed warning and a recommendation to turn down backups if the problem continees.
Note:
This is not available on SnapShot based backups due to some limitations that Snapshot providers like DigitalOcean provider.
DigitalOcean will now allow Snapshots to overlap and with a backup taking roughly a minute per GB it would be very easy for a user to lock there droplet.
Volume have a limit of 25 snapshots and no more often than 10minutes. So we also locked this to hourly.
